Not at all! Our trips are designed for everyone, including complete beginners. We provide professional instruction tailored to your skill level, ensuring you learn safely while having fun.

Pack like a pro adventurer! Bring your favorite swimsuit (or two—you’ll be living in them), comfy clothes you can move in, and something light to cover up when the sun gets a little too friendly. Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses to keep the rays in check, and some sturdy flip-flops or sneakers for exploring. Oh, and sunscreen—lots of sunscreen. If you’ve got a surfboard or skateboard you love, bring it along! If not, we’ve got awesome rental gear waiting for you.

Yes, travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. It should cover medical emergencies, cancellations, and adventure activities like surfing and skateboarding. This ensures your safety and peace of mind throughout the trip.

No need to stress about this part—it’s easier than it sounds! For Morocco, most travelers can get their visa right at the airport upon arrival. However, it’s always a good idea to double-check the rules for your specific country before you pack your bags. Some nationalities may have different requirements, and we wouldn’t want anything to slow you down. Make sure your passport is valid (at least six months beyond your trip date is a safe bet), and if you need help figuring things out, we’re happy to point you in the right direction.

We’ll provide detailed information about the local currency and exchange rates before your trip. It’s a good idea to bring cash in small denominations, as not all locations may accept cards or have nearby ATMs.

While the primary language varies by destination, our guides and instructors are bilingual and will assist with any language barriers. For example, in Morocco, Arabic and French are widely spoken, and our team will help with translations when needed

We’ve got your mornings covered! Breakfast will be provided every day during the trip, giving you the perfect start to your adventures. As for lunch and dinner, we’ve intentionally left those open. Why? Because we want you to feel free to explore, try different restaurants, and dive into the local food scene at your own pace.

That said, there’s one special dinner we’ll share together! We’ll host a fun cooking session where you’ll learn to make authentic Moroccan cuisine, so you can take a piece of Morocco home with you (in recipe form, of course!).

This approach also helps us support local businesses—your meals out contribute directly to the community, and you’ll get to experience the amazing variety of local flavors.

Getting to the trip location is a breeze! Once you arrive at the airport, a BoardJoy taxi will be there to pick you up and take you straight to your accommodation. We’ll also make sure you get back to the airport on the departure day—no need to worry about transportation. We’ve got you covered, so all you need to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!

If you anticipate a delay, please inform us as soon as possible. While we’ll do our best to accommodate you, late arrivals may miss some activities. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided for missed portions of the trip.

BoardJoy is all about flexibility! If you experience a flight delay or anything unexpected, just let us know as soon as you can. We’ll make sure our taxis are ready and waiting for you when you arrive, no matter what time it is. We want to make your journey as smooth as possible, so don’t stress—we’ve got it covered!

You’ll stay connected during most of your trip! Our accommodations come with Wi-Fi, and we’ve even got fiber for faster connections. However, during the wild camping experience, we’ll be off the grid for a night—there won’t be Wi-Fi, and the internet connection will be quite limited. It’s a chance to fully disconnect and immerse yourself in nature.
