The idea of BoardJoy was born a year ago when Gabrielle was traveling through Morocco. Instead of just being a tourist, she quickly found herself deeply integrated into the local culture, thanks to the warm hospitality of the Moroccan people. Her days were filled with surfing, skateboarding, and enjoying spontaneous beachside activities like campfires and local fish barbecues, experiences that most travelers miss out on without local connections. This unique blend of adventure and cultural immersion sparked an idea in her mind: why not create a way for others to experience this same authentic blend of activities and lifestyle? That’s when BoardJoy was conceived, with the mission to offer not just surf and skateboarding trips, but a true connection to the places and people visited.
