General conditions of sale

1. Introduction

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the contractual relations between the event agency Boardjoy and any natural or legal person (hereinafter “the Customer”) wishing to benefit from the services offered by Boardjoy via the website www.board-joy.com. Any order placed with Boardjoy implies the Customer’s full and complete acceptance of these GTC.

2. Services offered

Boardjoy offers various services related to the organization of events, mainly focused on outdoor activities, such as surfing, skateboarding, yoga, and excursions in Morocco. The services include, but are not limited to:

Organization and management of events,
Accommodation,
Transport and shuttle,
Activities supervised by professionals,
Premium offers (accommodation, catering, etc.).

3. Order

Any order or reservation of service must be made via the website or directly by contacting our team. An order confirmation will be sent by email once the reservation is validated.

The customer agrees to provide accurate and complete information when ordering, including name, email address and payment details. Boardjoy cannot be held responsible for any errors due to inaccurate information provided by the customer.

4. Rates and payments

The prices of the services are indicated in euros (€) and include all applicable taxes (VAT). Rates may vary depending on the nature and customization of the services.

Payment is required upon reservation according to the following terms:

50% deposit upon reservation,
The balance to be paid 30 days before the event.

Payments can be made by credit card or via other means of payment available on the site.

5. Modification and cancellation

Any request for modification or cancellation by the Customer must be made in writing (email or mail) to the Boardjoy agency.

Modification

Order modifications may be accepted subject to availability and feasibility. Additional fees may apply depending on the changes requested.

Cancellation by the client
More than 30 days before the event: refund of the deposit less 10% administrative fees.

Less than 30 days before the event: no refund will be granted except in cases of force majeure (subject to supporting documents).

Cancellation by Boardjoy

In the event of cancellation by Boardjoy for reasons beyond its control (force majeure, weather conditions, etc.), the Client will be fully refunded for the amounts paid or an alternative solution will be offered.

6. Liability

Boardjoy undertakes to provide the services booked in the best conditions. However, the agency cannot be held responsible for incidents or accidents occurring outside the execution of its contractual obligations, such as personal injury, material damage or theft of personal effects during events.

The Client is required to respect the safety instructions provided by the team and professionals supervising the activities. Boardjoy reserves the right to exclude any participant whose behavior endangers others or the smooth running of the event.

7. Insurance

Boardjoy recommends that the Client take out travel insurance, covering in particular accidents and incidents related to the proposed sports activities. Boardjoy can provide advice on the insurance to be taken out, but is not responsible for the steps taken by the client in this regard.

8. Personal data

The personal data collected during the order or registration are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This data is used for processing orders and organizing services. The Client has the right to access, rectify and delete their data by contacting the agency at the following address: contact@board-joy.com.

9. Intellectual Property

All elements of the website www.board-joy.com, including texts, images, graphics, logos and videos, are protected by copyright. Any reproduction or use of these elements without prior authorization is prohibited.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavour to find an amicable solution. If no solution is found, the competent courts will be those of the place of residence of Boardjoy.

11. Applicable Law

These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Moroccan law. Any question relating to their interpretation or execution will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Moroccan courts.

Refunds and Returns Policy

Overview

Our refund and return policy is valid for 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can no longer offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Non-returnable items

Certain types of products cannot be returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept personal hygiene or sanitary products, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Gift cards
Downloadable software products
Certain personal care and health items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Important: Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Partial Refund Cases

In certain situations, a partial refund may be granted:

Books with obvious signs of use
CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, vinyl records that have been opened
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons beyond our control
Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to confirm that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed automatically, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Delays or No Refund

If you haven’t received your refund yet, first check your bank account. Next, contact your credit card issuer, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email}.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email} and return your item to the following address: {physical address}.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, or the gift giver had the item shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he or she will find out about your return.

Returns Shipping

To return your product, you should ship it to {physical address}. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping your item back. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are returning high-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
