For our special edition Morocco Adrenaline, we’re proud to collaborate with Joy Empowerment, a local association dedicated to supporting children in Tamraght and Taghazout. Through this partnership, we aim to help young riders enhance their skateboarding skills while contributing to their growth and confidence.
Joy Empowerment (Joy.Emp) is a 100% non-profit organization run by local volunteers in Morocco, founded by skaters @b_h_j_a and @aya.asq. Our mission is to use skateboarding as a tool to empower and improve the abilities of kids, girls, and youth across the country. Through skateboarding, we create inclusive spaces for personal growth, creativity, and teamwork.
We host events, workshops, and competitions in various cities and villages, including Essaouira, Agadir, Taroudant, Tamraght, Taghazout, and Aourir.
Joy.Emp started six years ago, born out of the need for skateboarding materials, and has grown into a movement dedicated to uplifting youth by providing access to skateboarding gear, community support, and inspiring leadership.
Today, we continue to work internationally to gather resources, secure sponsorships, and organize activities that keep Morocco’s skate culture thriving. Skateboarding is more than a sport—it’s a tool for empowerment, helping youth build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging
