Booking and Payment
1.1. All bookings must be made through our official website.
1.2. A deposit of 50% is required to secure your spot – any remaining balance is payable on arrival.
1.3. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in the cancellation of your booking without refund.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
2.1. If you cancel your booking:
- More than 7 days before departure: Free cancellation
- Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.
2.2. If BoardJoy cancels the trip for reasons beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest), we will offer a full refund or reschedule the trip.
2.3. We are not responsible for additional costs incurred due to trip cancellation, such as flight changes or other travel expenses.
Health, Safety, and Insurance
3.1. Participants must be in good health and capable of engaging in activities such as surfing, skateboarding, and other physical activities.
3.2. It is mandatory for all participants to have valid travel and health insurance that covers adventure sports and activities.
3.3. BoardJoy is not liable for injuries, accidents, or illnesses that occur during the trip. Participants assume all risks associated with the activities.
Travel Documentation
4.1. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport, visa, and any required travel documents for the destination.
4.2. BoardJoy is not responsible for travel disruptions caused by incomplete or incorrect documentation.
Conduct and Behavior
5.1. Participants are expected to respect local cultures, communities, and other group members.
5.2. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in immediate removal from the trip without refund.
5.3. Participants must always adhere to local laws and regulations.
Activities and Itinerary
6.1. The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
6.2. Certain activities may involve risks. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree not to hold BoardJoy liable.
Liability
7.1. BoardJoy is not responsible for delays, injuries, losses, or damages caused by third parties, natural events, or personal negligence.
7.2. Our liability is limited to the value of the trip booked with us.
Photo and Media Consent
8.1. By participating in a BoardJoy trip, you consent to being photographed or filmed.
8.2. BoardJoy reserves the right to use photos or videos for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please inform us in writing prior to the trip.
Amendments to Terms
9.1. BoardJoy reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
9.2. Any changes will be communicated to participants before the trip.
